These terms are between you and Modern One Technologies, LLC, doing business as Modern Technologies. Below, "we" and "us" mean that company.

They apply to this website. Work we do on your equipment is covered by our repair terms. Ongoing IT services for a business are covered by the agreement we sign with that business, which controls over anything on this site.

Using this site

Read it, print it, send it to somebody who needs a computer fixed. What you can't do is break into it, scrape it in a way that degrades it for anyone else, or use it to do something illegal. We may change or take down any part of the site at any time.

Prices and information on this site

The rates published here are what most jobs of that kind run. They are not a quote and they are not an offer we're bound to. What a specific job costs depends on the device and the fault, and we tell you the number before we start work. If a price here and a price we've quoted you disagree, the quote is the one that counts.

We try to keep everything on this site accurate and current. We don't promise it is free of errors, and we can change prices, services, and hours without notice.

This site is not advice

Anything here about computers, repairs, security, or backups is general information. It is not a professional recommendation for your particular situation. Call us and we'll give you a real answer about your actual machine.

The Modern Technologies name, our logo, and the text, photographs, and design of this site belong to us. You may not use our name or logo to suggest we endorse, supply, or are affiliated with something we aren't.

This website is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components. This paragraph is about the website. It does not limit any warranty we give you on actual repair work, which is set out in the repair terms, or any right you have under Missouri law that cannot be waived.

What we're responsible for

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website, and our total liability connected to this website will not exceed one hundred dollars. Again, this is about the website. Our responsibility for work performed on your equipment is addressed in the repair terms, and nothing here takes away a right Missouri law says you keep.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Cole County, Missouri, and both of us agree those courts have jurisdiction.

We update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top changes when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
