Accessibility
What we've done, what we know isn't perfect, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
Last updated August 2026
We want this site and this shop to work for everybody who needs a computer fixed. That includes people using a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or a wheelchair.
The standard we build to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That's the benchmark most public bodies and courts use, and it's the one worth building to whether or not anybody makes us.
What that means here
In practice: the whole site works from a keyboard, text is readable against every background we use, buttons are big enough to hit on a phone, images carry descriptions, movement stops if your device asks for less of it, and nothing needs JavaScript to work. We check those before a change goes out.
As we add things like online booking or a customer account, we build them the same way and test them before they go live.
Where we know it falls short
We test with keyboard navigation and automated checks. We have not had this site audited by an outside firm or tested with a panel of screen reader users. If you hit something we've missed, you'll know before we do, and we'd like you to tell us.
Getting into the shop
There are no steps at the entrance, but the outer door is an older one and there's a short incline, and both are easier with a hand. Call ahead and we'll be watching for you, or we'll come out and meet you. If coming in isn't practical at all, call and we'll work out another way to get your device to the bench.
Tell us
If any part of this site or the shop gets in your way, tell us and we'll fix it. Call or email us with what happened and what you were trying to do, and a real person will answer. Our number and address are on the home page.
If something here is stopping you getting information you need, ask and we'll give it to you over the phone or in person in the meantime. You shouldn't have to wait for us to ship a fix to find out what a repair costs.
